So, do you think you’re good for it? These are the qualities our clients are looking for in candidates…

• A minimum of five years, full-time European experience.
• A history of stable employment (a minimum of one year per job although an average of two years is preferred).
• Exposure to reputable kitchens in quality establishments.
• Chefs with well-balanced temperaments.

 

Bear in mind that almost all positions are advertised as “long-term”, which can mean anything from one to four years. Commitments don’t get much bigger than this. So it’s worth spending some time considering the implications associated with a move of this magnitude before you apply.
